How to Add a New Product

To add a new product to your store or inventory system, follow the steps below:


  1. Product Name
    Enter the official name of the product. This will appear on your storefront and in your inventory list.

  2. Product Category
    Select the appropriate category that best fits the product. Categorizing properly helps customers find the product easily.

  3. Already Generated Product Barcode
    Input or scan the product’s barcode. This ensures accurate tracking, stock management, and faster checkout.

  4. Product Description
    Provide a clear and detailed description of the product, including key features, specifications, and benefits. This helps customers understand what they are buying.

  5. Product Tags
    Add relevant keywords (tags) to improve search visibility. Tags help customers find the product through search filters.

  6. Discount Percentage
    Enter any discount or promotional percentage you want to apply to the product. Leave it blank if no discount is currently available.

  7. Product Status
    Choose the product’s status—such as Active, Inactive, Out of Stock, or Draft. This determines if the product will be visible to customers.

  8. Featured or Premium Product
    Select whether the product should be marked as Featured or Premium. Featured products appear in highlighted sections for increased visibility.

  9. Upload Photo
    Upload a clear, high-quality image of the product. Good photos attract customers and improve sales.
